Khahliso Mabitla from Odendaanlsrus in the Free State, who was reported to have been kidnapped on March 18, has been arrested for lying and pretending to have been kidnapped. Her husband even received a phone from the kidnappers demanding R5000 for her release.

She has been arrested and released on R5 000 bail.

Authorities are searching for inmate Clatta Gumbo who escaped from Mamelodi hospital in Tshwane.
