@Motor1com Sure, and I can do the splits as a 38 year old woman. Much like a Vinfast, it will be painful and possibly cause an injury, but I can do it.
@hokkori_buzz My highest has 169k on the chassis, unknown miles on the engine, an '88 MR2 with a 4AGE black top in it. I work in a shop where I regularly see Mercedes with over 250k miles on them. I had a Porsche Cayenne in today with almost 300k.
@imprendIT The interior is fine. US body shops usually just replace entire parts and panels, actually beating the damaged panels back into shape is now a rarely used older technique, sadly.
@DeclanMcGuinne3 Because I'm in a rear plate only state and I have the legal plate over the UK plate in the back. I got a personal plate with the UK reg, so it even matches!
@Nir_Kahn@KanseiDoriftoD That's my thought as well, but insurance here is much more into just doing R&R for cheap instead of beating panels, which makes it tricky when the panels are very far away.
@CoreyLewis86 It's a very difficult conversation, but it's one that most families will have at some point, so it really should be normalized. Part of normalizing it would be more frequent testing for licensing since it literally forces the conversation
@beckyk21k I took it around the block and it still drives straight, going to try to rack it at work tomorrow and take a peek underneath. I'll be in Europe for the next 3 weeks though, so a bit of a pause there.
