Women are in fact over represented and it needs to be dialed back. The sheer concentration of them has turned gaming into negative publicity cycles where the only attention most AAA titles get anymore is a negative reaction to how much the women in gaming have butchered them.

Their “underrepresentation” likely correlates to a time when gaming was innovative, interesting, cheaper, and more fun.
