@finkd@kunalb11@Meta@WhatsApp@WhatsApp@Meta@kunalb11 , please consider these features.
We shouldn’t have to block useful contacts just to avoid unwanted calls or content.
Give users control over individual interactions, not just an all-or-nothing block.
Let us choose, contact by contact. ☝️
I need my plumber’s number for occasional repairs. I message him on WhatsApp when I need his services. That’s it.
But he sometimes makes unexpected voice and video calls instead of simply replying in chat. His Status updates show me content I never wanted to see.

Let us independently control:
• Messages & chats

We don’t hype Dinkar enough. Read these four stanzas to witness absolute genius! Every word remains undeniably true across time, generations and species.
क्षमा, दया, तप, त्याग, मनोबल, सबका लिया सहारा,
पर नर-व्याघ्र सुयोधन तुमसे, कहो, कहाँ, कब हारा?
(You tried forgiveness, patience, and sacrifice, but did Duryodhana ever back down because of your restraint?)
क्षमाशील हो रिपु-समक्ष, तुम हुये विनत जितना ही,
दुष्ट कौरवों ने तुमको, कायर समझा उतना ही।
(The more humble you were before your enemies, the more they dismissed you as a coward.)
अत्याचार सहन करने का, कुफल यही होता है,
पौरुष का आतंक मनुज, कोमल होकर खोता है।
(When a person becomes excessively soft and passive, they lose the healthy fear or respect that their strength and valor ought to command in others.)
क्षमा शोभती उस भुजंग को, जिसके पास गरल हो,
उसका क्या जो दंतहीन, विषरहित, विनीत, सरल हो।
(Forgiveness is a noble attribute only for a venomous snake that commands fear. What value or dignity is there in the "forgiveness" of a snake that has no teeth, carries no venom, and is inherently harmless and meek?)
@Paytm@Paytmcare@vijayshekhar@NPCI_NPCI Please:
• Add password protection to these PDFs.
• Provide an option to disable the monthly UPI transaction PDF emails if users don't need them.
Hope Paytm can address this soon.
@Paytm The monthly UPI transaction PDF sent via email is currently delivered without password protection. Since it contains sensitive financial information, this poses a privacy and security concern. 👇

@NPCI_NPCI@UPI_NPCI@dilipasbe why do different apps use different names for the same 12-digit number? @PhonePe calls it UTR, @GooglePayIndia calls it Transaction ID, @Paytm calls it Ref No. It creates confusion during failed payment disputes
Please mandate uniform terminology!
Nobody tells you this: You can wake up and decide that's enough. Enough of the low standards. Enough of the bad habit. Enough of the outdated identity. Enough of whatever. You don't need some dramatic reason, either. It's perfectly reasonable to wake up one day, say "this no longer works for me," and make a change. You can reinvent yourself. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as you need to create the life you want.
I appreciate Mappls as an Indian platform, but user privacy and data protection should receive the same priority as the competition. Hope this is addressed soon.
@MapmyIndia@mappls
It’s been 5 months since I raised concerns about publicly accessible user profiles on Mappls.
Even today, edits, places added and reviews are visible without login.
Google Maps offers stronger privacy controls, including profile locking.
On the Mappls MapmyIndia app, we do not display users’ phone numbers. In a very limited number of instances, some users may have manually set their mobile number as their username.
We take user privacy very seriously and are actively addressing this. In the next app update, usernames will be removed from public view.
Happy to see Nepal’s authorities now providing a UPI-enabled QR code for the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
I’ve contributed.
You can too—let’s stand with our brotherly nation Nepal.

Friends and well-wishers in India who are encountering difficulty while contributing to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund of the Government of Nepal by scanning the designated QR codes are kindly requested to activate “UPI International” in their UPI/banking application before proceeding with the payment.
Once activated, please rescan the QR code and complete the contribution as an international UPI transaction. The exact activation process and validity period may vary depending on the bank or UPI application.

Move your body.
Move your body.
Move your body.
Move your body.
Because exercise may change how your brain works during thinking.
A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis of 52 fMRI studies found that physical exercise was linked to better cognitive task performance and increased task-related brain activation.
I think India should have an indigenous nationwide alert system like NASA FIRMS—providing real-time alerts for rising water levels in dams and barrages, wildfires, floods, landslides, and other disasters.
we built an early flood warning system for nepal. 🇳🇵
on 26 august, a massive flood came down the bhotekoshi from tibet.
157 people died. hundreds are still missing.
nepal has gauges all along that river.
the last reading from rasuwagadi said:
“below warning level. steady.”
then all five gauges in the valley went offline within ten minutes of each other.
they still haven’t come back.
the monitoring existed.
the warning didn’t.
and for people living in remote parts of nepal, putting disaster data on a website isn’t enough.
they might not have twitter.
they might not have a disaster app.
they might not even have reliable internet.
but most people have a phone.
so we built notify.
notify continuously checks DHM gauges + NDRRMA data for floods and other natural disasters.
for floods, it watches how quickly rivers are changing upstream and estimates how long a dangerous surge could take to reach communities downstream.
when something looks dangerous, we try every way we can to reach the people in its path:
a phone call in nepali.
an sms.
an email.
you opt in once with your district + contact details.
after that, if a natural disaster could affect you, we try to make sure you hear about it before it reaches you.
the idea is p simple:
people shouldn’t need internet, twitter, or the right app open at the right time to know they’re in danger.
sometimes a phone call is more important than all of them.
free.
77 districts.
live now. 🇳🇵

@PM_nepal_@EONIndia@ShahBalen Respected Nepal authorities, many Indians want to donate for flood relief but don’t have Visa/Mastercard. Please share an easy UPI QR code so we can contribute directly via GPay/PhonePe/BHIM. It will help a lot.
