A hot wallet in cryptocurrency refers to a type of digital wallet that is connected to the internet. It is used to store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies and is typically accessible via a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
To mitigate the risks associated with hot wallets, it's often recommended to only keep a small amount of cryptocurrency in them for daily use, while storing larger amounts in a more secure, offline cold wallet.
