Mason hadnβt had much contact with Isabella for a fair while, he had disappeared off the face of the earth when she was pregnant, he hadnβt explained why nor had he even met his daughter.
The thought of fatherhood did scare him, more than he realised and the
hitting his family, including his dad who was rather disappointed in his actions, that alone was enough to break Mason and realise. Not that he didnβt before, but his dadβs words put a lot into perspective for him.
