had a client that wanted to integrate flutterwave as their payment system. he told me to create it with my details and forward the account details to him, i rejected it immediately. he insisted and even offered to pay extra, there i knew somethings up and ended the contract

Never use your own card to pay for a client’s project.

Not for hosting.
Not for domains.
Not for backend services.

Why?

You could get auto-debited when the plan renews.

Worse? if the client uses the site for fraud, your payment details, hosting account, and setup history could put you inside a problem you didn’t create.

Always let the client own the account and billing.

Your job is to build.

Not to become the fall guy.
