‘As I hand over today, I do so with complete confidence in our Incoming President & the board.
They inherit a club with strong governance, active members, valuable partnerships & a clear sense of purpose.
Our responsibility now is to support them wholeheartedly because while leadership changes, our mission does not’ @julieimmy at PE @1baxy Installation.

A new chapter begins.
Today, Rotarians, friends & partners gather to witness the installation of @1baxy of @rcuptownkampala
Here's to celebrating our journey, strengthening our fellowship & recommitting ourselves to Service Above Self.

Accept that it didn't work out. Accept that you two are incompatible. Accept that they weren't equipped to treat you the way you deserved to be treated. Accept that they're just.. not the one for you. Accept it and let go of the anger/ resentment. It's hurting you more than them.
I need to understand something. If a woman says she doesn’t want children. Then you insult her, what’s the purpose of the insult? To change her mind and have kids? And if you love children so much, why do you want them to be in a home where they’re unwanted?
I think I owe myself an apology for being in spaces where I knew I wasn't wanted & appreciated, but instead, I stayed. For forcing broken connections & ships. I owe myself an apology, but please don't think your past self lacked worth in any way.
I love when you talk things through with someone and realize neither of you was wrong, you just saw things differently. That’s what real communication is: understanding, not winning.
