During ETF 2026, the students of Enugu Smart Green School took the stage and owned it!

From their different campuses, these young innovators showcased projects built from skills in robotics, AI, mechatronics, coding, and even C++ — introduced as early as Primary 4.

On display were prototypes like an automatic solar streetlight powered by sensors, customized 3D-printed power banks, drone applications for agriculture and security, and clean-energy concepts designed with long-term sustainability in mind.

It's clear that innovation isn’t about expensive materials but about ideas, creativity, and the confidence to build. Enugu’s future isn’t waiting. It’s already in the hands of its youngest problem solvers.

At the fireside chat on Building Our Digital Backbone Infrastructure as a Foundation for Smarter Government and Scalable Innovation, Daniel Felix - @Chinaecherem CEO of @Nectar_finance joined host Chinaza Ezeoma - @nerd_chi for a powerful conversation on the future of finance.

Daniel broke down how NectarFi removes traditional financial barriers enabling fast multi currency transfers with fewer restrictions and stronger privacy. He shared that persistent limitations in traditional banking deepened his conviction in stablecoins and inspired a system built around instant transactions and user control.

He also cautioned against integrating stablecoins without private key ownership stressing that true innovation must protect users not restrict them.
