This footage from inside the eye of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa might be the most jaw-dropping video ever captured of a hurricane’s eye, showcasing the infamous “stadium effect."

Been having a play with Diffit. Used it to create homework for Y7 geographers based on an article. It simplified text to an appropriate reading-age and comprehension questions were AI generated. It even formatted the sheet for me! Took all of 5 mins. #edutwitter
There are lots of ways to provide opportunities for retrieval practice inside & outside of the classroom. There are pros/cons or benefits/limitations to different techniques that's why I have always embraced variety.
As a history teacher MCQs & short answer quizzes are great for knowledge recall but students must also be given opportunities for elaboration & application too.

If I lived on the Shankill I would be angry as well. Dereliction, vacancy, a housing shortage, and a legacy of the Troubles unresolved. BUT this was not caused by immigrants, or Rea Estates, or Private Landlords. This lies purely with politicians in the area.
The Shankill Road should be lined with 4/5 storey, gentle density mixed tenure housing with ground floor amenities. This is not the responsibility of private developers. This lies with @CommunitiesNI
Almost 50% of the Housing Waiting List in Belfast(~12k applications) are Single, 18-59. Building inefficient, low density housing is expensive and does not solve the problem.
