I built this voice feature tonight using Gemini Live API (voice, 3.1 flash).
Holy **** it is fast. Like instant responses. 🤯
Watch with sound ⬇️
After publicly roasting Google last week, I am of course still team Gemini! Worlds most powerful API Key.
@patloeber@OfficialLoganK
Should I ship this feature? What about UI/UX? I am open to ideas. Not happy yet. Too small and flimsy buttons but I cannot waste and clutter any more screen Real Estate.

In celebration of this great month I am now going to mop my floor for the first time in 4 months. F YES.
Holy Opus 5.0 🤯
I have a new SEO strategy idea to write content on world events. Thats the good thing when you got a Micro Learning app that does courses on ANY topic.
You can use ANY topic to market your app.
So here we go, I try to capture some stray traffic for the big next world events:
Solar eclipse
Oktoberfest
Nobel Price Events
Mid Term Elections
I just asked Opus pretty much to "I want to capture as much traffic as I can from the upcoming solar eclipse queries. Do as well as you can, write content, blog posts, deep research what is cool, code an animation, make it 3D if you need to. You have authority to use the Gemini api key for up to 12 images"
it added my logo, a branding and corporate colors 😄
And below is one part of the result (it spawned content pillar pages, coded the below animation correctly in three .js, wrote blog posts, images, heroes, keywords)

If you are non native in English and want to improve your speaking, you have to give this a try!
My favorite life hack I tell to all of my friends and colleagues, non native english speakers:
The podcast hack.
When everything becomes AI, one of the most important skills is being a good communicator.
Being able to speak clearly and to simplify, simplify, simplify.
Everybody thinks "well I can speak", but truth is there is 10x upside for all of us.
Speaking well in public, giving presentations, talking to friends, on calls, and to your boss, is THE MOST valuable skill anyone can have.
While you can take courses and practise, there is an easier option, that at first sounds uncommon, but from my own experience, I can promise you it works.
It is all about listening to podcasts. How many hours of music do you listen to per week? Switch one of those sessions to a long form 2-3 hour podcast.
And listen to how they talk. How they pronounce, how they speak. Tone, rhythm, choice of words. Make this a habit for ONE YEAR. And I promise you will see results.
Those are my favorite:
1) The GaryVee Audio Experience @garyvee
Gary V. is just the worlds best speaker and communicator. Incredibly energetic, kind and motivating. He can talk you into absolutely anything. Listen to him swear and hammer his points into your brain. Nothing but a work of art. Even if you are not intersted in his topics, I promise you will listen just to hear him talk. Sometimes the audio quality is weird, because it is a mix of clips from conferences and live streams.
2) The Joe Rogan Experience @joerogan
World's largest podcast for a reason. Listen, you dont need to believe everything he says. Joe loves a good conspiracy theory and fringe information. But I love his show because he will invite absolutely anybody and just have a conversation. Pay attention to how he does it. Most podcasts go Question, Answer, Question, Answer. But not Joe. He can run a 3 hour podcast and ask one single question: How are you today?
The rest is just a flow of normal conversation. Nobody in the world can do it that well.
3) Lex Fridman Podcast @lexfridman
Deep, reflecting, tech focussed, which most of you probably like. Incredibly good listener. Half of speaking is active listening without thinking what you want to say. If you think about what to say next, you dont listen.
And you can almost *hear* Lex listening.
4) Vinh Giang @AskVinh
Not a podcast, but incredibly powerful messages and tutorials on youtube. Listen to him speak, listen to him teach people.
My favorite episode is how he teaches an audience how to stop using "em, er, you know, like" and replace filler words with pauses. Silence.
Which ones did I miss?
The SEO/GEO Meta at the moment is clearly Youtube.
The one skill I still want to learn:
Yapping on camera for youtube.
The one task I keep postponing:
Getting a microphone and recording myself
Anyway, until the day I find courage, I help myself with my friends Claude and Remotion and publish it to Youtube.
These videos are ranking like CRAZY in Google/Gemini AI preview. This is the current GEO Meta, if you add the right Title and Video descripiton.
I want to do something different. Not high paced attention hook hook demo twist dance content.
Like a 3-4 min Ad for my product.
Below is my WIP version. I spent 50 usd on API cost on this Video.
I love 40% of it and cringe at 60%.
Generally I like the script. And the idea.
Something calm.
But in below there is just too much AI slop and acting issues to be useful 🤣
What do you think, should I waste another 50 USD to fix the center pieces of the video (dialogues mainly)?
Or is it FUBAR?
