Had the privilege of researching (background) for the Capital and Main series, "Making America Hate Again." The videos show Trump campaign's deep connections to white nationalism and its ideals. Great editors and writers working to inform. Watch it here. https://t.co/ozOs08WBle
@KalenAndrew@ABC This comment is illogical. They interviewed people who saw the event. The video is from an American journalist, who was also threatened. They are called eye-witnesses, which are legitimate sources when corroborated, which they did. If you read it you would know that. Do better.
I recently contributed to a cause that really touched my heart. A Black veteran and father is facing an unimaginable situation. The Trump administration has detained him. If you can, please consider donating or sharing his story. Every little bit helps. https://t.co/PEM7ZRc8Wg
@get_filmy @Freelance_Beat Because most of what AI promised was a scam, its the collection of data that matters the most. Hard sciences would require a level of accuracy they cannot promise.
That is foam, NOT snow.
These pictures are from San Diego County, NOT a third-world country. Pollution in the Tijuana River has been happening for decades but received little national attention. People are comparing it to the Flint Water Crisis & calling it a Superfund. 🧵(1)
It’s a little but still important. Last summer I was an AAJA Voices Student Fellow and I got to work with some of the most inspiring young journalists, mentors and working journalists in the country. Read the rest of my thank you here https://t.co/OUu1segVVl
@jrpsaki More misogyny and anti-intellectualism. She expects those asking for her time to be as prepared as she is, and as serious about their jobs. Also, the disrespect. She is the vice president.
@franklinleonard@dorkasaurus_pdx@ReRiculous I am now following you because of your wit, willingness to educate your opponents on the merits of properly identifying logical fallacies and relentless adherence to logic in this thread. Also, you are right. That helps too.
San Francisco's budget cuts threaten to pull funding from Pacific Islander groups that address health disparities.
Hope Saena found this story within her own community. She said, "If I don't cover my own community, no one else will."

In the last months, I've had the privilege of editing students for @aajavoices alongside @NominUJ. Their reporting addresses gaps in mainstream media: Vietnamese insurrectionists, Filipino-Palestinian solidarity, Pacific Islander disparities, and Koreatown's housing activists. 🧵
Have you seen other national flags waving in solidarity at a Palestinian protest?
@zhy_smitisa decided to investigate why Filipino activists were organizing alongside Palestinian activists at the University of Washington about the ongoing war on Gaza. https://t.co/hSrl5cqV1k
When @KatelynDo55352 saw pictures of January 6th at the Capitol, she was shocked to see photos of the South Vietnam flag: yellow with three red stripes.
Her story investigates the history of censorship and political organizing of Vietnamese Americans. https://t.co/3XCanG4g8w
@CNN A journalistic failure. Irrespective of ideology, allowing this many lies be the least important part of the panels after, is a failure. Fake news and video will proliferate without having been debunked immediately aftward, when it mattered most. Two panels focused on vibes.
The 42-second video snippet released by the House GOP in which Pelosi, dismayed by the inadequate Capitol security, says “I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more” simply does not prove Trump’s claims that she was in charge or turned down Guard troops.
January 6th is finally brought up after 40 minutes, after most people watched and said holy hell, he sounds and looks awful, and turned off, and you just...don't hit what it represents and the ongoing danger to democracy.
What in the hell are we doing here.
