Do you know that even in low-frequency circuits, the cables you use during prototyping can introduce noise high enough to disrupt modern systems?
I ran a test comparing CAT5 and breadboard jumpers; results showed noise spikes above 1 V.

Inspired by Eric Bogatin’s book, Practical Guide to Prototype Breadboard and PCB Design, I explored how different interconnects—breadboard jumper wires vs. CAT cables—affect mutual inductance, return path noise, and cross-talk, even at just 500 Hz.

Simulated a simple driver + transmission line + load circuit in Siemens HyperLynx and saw huge ringing.
As Eric Bogatin says, if rise time < 4xTD, reflections matter.
HyperLynx v10’s EZWave Visualizer (CDF + histogram plots) made signal analysis easy.

@ndekekwe It’s funny how Sam Altman brings them to light by describing poaching advances from Meta of about $100M and the Acquhire of Scale AI. And so what playbook do we use to selecting that element other than our Oasis?

@ndekekwe is how do companies find that element for the double market play. I for one believe that Meta has a long way to commercialize smart wearables for AR/VR. The challenge is that this made them track back a bit on the AI race and now they are trying to do damage control.
