I strongly suspect (gut instinct), Iran already has nukes, just not in the final assembled form, but as separate components to fulfil Khamenei's Fatwa on nukes.
Functional, but empty warheads, ready to receive the "fire offering" (enriched U).
Zechariah 5. Read it.
@SaneTerri And yet they keep on getting what they want. Their agenda in full overdrive. If they aren't intelligent, then the rest of us are complete retards.
This is simply not true.
Do not ever make the mistake that those who rule are not intelligent. Not visionary.
They are highly intelligent, highly visionary.
Just their vision for us, who they consider "cattle" or "slaves", differ to our own.
Not incompetence. Malice!
“We have the money, the power, the medical understanding, the scientific know-how, the love and the community to produce a kind of human paradise. But we are led by the least among us – the least intelligent, the least noble, the least visionary.”
— Terence McKenna
@Alex_3204@Haiti1805 P2P. Glide bombs with 30-80km range means the fighter is blown out of sky by modern SAMs.
Longer range munitions aren't cheap, may as well use a missile, without putting any expensive asset & pilot at risk.
Recent events have demonstrated to the world how effective Carriers are.
The US with all of its $ for military, cannot even sail near Iran to "protect freedom of navigation".
Worse still, they can't even stop sandal goat herders in Yemen from controlling vital sea routes.
I've been saying why carriers are obsolete, providing the reasons, and we have witnessed this play out in 2024 vs Yemen, and now vs Iran.
People love to cling to symbols of might long past its prime. Just like all the Battleship simps in the 1940s.
fyi in 2022 I stated that Main Battle Tanks are now obsolete because manoeuvre warfare is dead in era of pervasive ISR & modern strike weapons, then came the drones.
But mil-nerds argued, they insisted MBTs still core, worth $ & production.
MBTs are junk, even IDF found out.
US Carriers ran away, beyond the range of Iran's anti-ship missiles.
Russia's anti-ship missiles have far longer range, and China's hypersonic would put US surface ships back to Guam.
Useless relics, but people's brains are damaged by hollywood.
@Alex_3204@Haiti1805 You're referring to situation where air superiority is achieved and fighters dropping cheap bombs?
Under that scenario where one side has already won the air war, there are far more efficient options than carriers launching sorties to drop bombs from fighters.
@nodokomanabe Not to mention that single carrier needs multiple escorts, ships that have to babysit that expensive sitting duck.
$ efficiency is rubbish with carriers.
I rather have a fleet of 20 DDs with mass VLS cells than 1 carrier battlegroup.
Carriers used to rule the seas. Nations would kneel to imperial demands when carriers arrive near their shores.
Then, as tech advanced, they shifted to a new role, to bully sandal wearing goat herders.
Today, that's no longer the case.
It's utterly obsolete. A floating museum.
China will be a 4 carrier navy by 2030.
Considering the backlog of US shipyards for maintenance and delays, we will have an effective carrier count superiority in the Asia Pacific region very soon.
This plus the fact that our 6th gen carrier-based fighter is ahead of our American competition, we are expected to dominate the Pacific within a decade’s time.
@nodokomanabe Mass is 20th century doctrine. Why send a carrier with 5,000 sailors to operate its 40 or so fighter jets just so they can launch one or two medium range missile, when you can mass produce long range missiles, fire them from safety further away for a fraction of the upkeep?
@arndmartinj@zhao_dashuai >Same could be said about any surface combatant.
Exactly.
P2P naval warfare, there's only two types of ships:
1) Submarines
2) Sunk
Hence, the strategic policy should be to maximize #1, minimize surface fleets, while spending $ to develop more effective missiles & drones.
@Alex_3204@Haiti1805 Have you looked at the cost /hr of current US fighters in combat missions? It ain't cheap.
Nor repair crews that need logistics.
Missiles can be mass produced far cheaper, and they put no trained pilot at risk, ever.
@ZayJspx@AndrewZ60494543 Why are you fixated on sorties? You seriously lack understanding of 21st century warfare.
Thousands of autonomous drones, ballistic, cruise and hypersonic missiles will destroy all surface combatants within range.
US Carriers ran away, beyond the range of Iran's anti-ship missiles.
Russia's anti-ship missiles have far longer range, and China's hypersonic would put US surface ships back to Guam.
Useless relics, but people's brains are damaged by hollywood.
@nerdtechgasm@Pax_American Notice how the land bases were devastated and the carriers were never hit, but you think this is an argument against carriers?
In 2025 alone, China added more electricity generation to their grid than the entire output of India. They added an entire Germany's energy output.
The AI race the US has hyped up vs China is over already. AI datacenters without electricity is just expensive junk.
@Alex_3204 Missiles do this job far better, for less cost investment and puts far fewer military personnel at risk.
Carriers are 20th century obsolete doctrine.
@Alex_3204 What good is such an expensive surface navy with carriers if it cannot do a basic task of protecting merchant shipping?
What is it's role? Open waters p2p conflict?
Hypersonic missiles do that infinitely better.
Almost correct.
The real masterminds knew what Iran's response would be. Choke Hormuz, block the Red Sea. Wreck the Gulf. Global trade & economy crashes.
Europe burns. Unrest rises everywhere else, like a powder keg waiting for the spark.
The Iranians are geniuses. By closing the Strait of Hormuz, they have triggered the butterfly effect across the world.
It starts with the rise in fuel prices, which is causing social movements in Europe, Albania, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, also in India, Chile etc.
France is under curfew and the army will be deployed on Saturday.
In Albania they are burning the Ministry of Economy.
And the best part is that they still have cards left to play.
In case the Zionists and the Americans are stupid enough to bomb the power plants and oil wells, Iran will accelerate the collapse of the world by retaliating in every region, and Iran will rebuild everything in less than 2 years, you can be sure of that.
You wanted regime change for Iran, you will get regime change for the world.
Iran is the country that will burn Epstein’s world, and we will all be grateful to it.
@Alex_3204 Carriers are over 1,000km away from Iran. Combat radius of US fighters are ~600km.
Missiles would get the job done for a fraction of the cost investments.
Drones would do it even cheaper.
Almost everyone thought the mRNA "vaccines" were "safe & effective" and not an experimental gene-therapy as well.
If your critical argument is to go along with everyone else, you're a sheep.
The only damage the US Carriers have done is emotional damage to it's crew & reputation of US Navy, as they fled the area of combat ops repeatedly when Iran sent a few drones & missiles their way.
Finally, they run with clogged toilets & blue balls all the way to Thailand.
Recent events have demonstrated to the world how effective Carriers are.
The US with all of its $ for military, cannot even sail near Iran to "protect freedom of navigation".
Worse still, they can't even stop sandal goat herders in Yemen from controlling vital sea routes.
