Yuma Kagiyama, currently taking a season-long hiatus, announced during a skating clinic appearance in Taipei on the September 20th that he will definitely return to competition next season:

"I will definitely return next season, so please rest assured."

He mentioned that the specific competitions he will enter next season and concrete goals have not yet been decided, adding, "I am currently in the stage of sketching out an image of what kind of figure skater I want to become."
