During National Voter Registration Day yesterday, 4,074 people registered to vote online. Here is the breakdown: 1,674 in Douglas County, 840 in Lancaster County, 335 in Sarpy County and 1,225 in the remaining counties in Nebraska.

Nebraskans are asked to fly U.S. and Nebraska flags at half-staff to honor those victims of the school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas. The observance is to last until sunset on Tuesday, May 22.
