‘We’ve only ever won 3 majorities’
Labour has won 8 majorities since 1945.
The guy is a terminal liar. It’s pathological, everything is spin in a court room.

Have I missed anything? Apart from taxpayers now funding free school breakfasts?
@andyburnham I’m not sure you’ve grasped how angry most people are right now. Perhaps lay off the obnoxiously jocular videos for the moment & take the current situation seriously?
@KensingtonRoyal So touched by the sincerity of your words. Cancer is such a gruelling journey, one I didn't choose. Thank you for showing such resilience.
I’m feeling all kinds of emotions tonight.
The Government has announced that more illegal migrants will be housed on MOD sites, and like many people, I’m struggling to understand the direction we’re heading in.
The Home Office presents these sites as providing only the basics, but from what we’ve seen at Wethersfield, the reality appears far more extensive. There are three meals a day, on-site healthcare facilities, welfare teams, activity coordinators, security staff and transport into nearby towns for appointments and other services. Whether people agree with me or not, these sites clearly require significant resources and taxpayers are entitled to ask how much they are costing.
Many local residents also question why people are being transported into surrounding towns on a daily basis. If the purpose is to accommodate people on a secure site, why are there constant shuttle buses? These are reasonable questions that deserve honest answers.
Then there’s the contracts. Companies providing transport (Foster Hartley) and other services stand to benefit from these large-scale accommodation sites. As more sites open, many people will understandably ask who is profiting from these decisions while local public services remain under pressure.
What also doesn’t sit right with me is the sheer scale of these sites. Housing well over 1,000 single adult men in one location is something many local communities have raised concerns about from the very beginning. Whether it’s the pressure on local infrastructure, policing, healthcare or community confidence, these concerns shouldn’t simply be dismissed by calling people names.
People can disagree with my views, and that’s their right. But questioning Government policy is not hatred. It’s democracy.
I genuinely believe the Government should be focusing on protecting our borders, reducing illegal immigration and investing in the people already living here, who are struggling with the cost of living, waiting lists, housing shortages and overstretched public services.
Tonight, I’m just left feeling frustrated. Something about all of this doesn’t sit right with me, and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way.
Today I heard both Starmer and Reeves boast that they were leaving the country better off than when they arrived in office. Starmer earlier said he was resigning “with good grace”. That’s not for him to decide. The vanity, ego and fragile conceitedness of senior politicians terrified of history being their judge, has become a hallmark of this generation of self-serving politicians. Stop obsessing about your “legacy” and, having denied voters the chance to pass judgement on your appalling governance, exit the stage quietly and with humility.
Starmer, before the election, spoke movingly about an 84-year-old woman forced to stay in bed until midday because she couldn’t afford heating — a powerful story of elderly insecurity after a lifetime of work.
Many similar interviews helped carry him to power. The media soft-balled him throughout the campaign.
Yet as Prime Minister, he cut the winter fuel allowance from millions of pensioners just like her.
This clip frames his premiership perfectly: say anything to get into No. 10, then ditch the empathy the moment you’re inside. Words are cheap. Empty promises reveal the hollow spineless quisling of a man. Hope he burns in hell.
