@HorrorDaddysRUs There’s a certain other murder podcast where the hosts were literally just reading articles—sometimes without attribution—verbatim (and selling out auditoriums). I’ve stopped listening so not sure if that’s still happening. But even with attribution it’s pretty shady.

@HorrorMovieCast maybe check out #Mine on Netflix. It’s not horror, though it features 1-2 scenes that are arguably horror-adjacent. Tone is all over the place (not surprised to see 2 directors) & there’s an unfortunate trope but I feel like there’s more here to like than not.

There’s actually a decent amount to like about #Mine (chiefly, the theme of regret, anger and anxiety serving as our own personal landmines that tether us, preventing us from moving forward). But the films embrace of the “magical negro” trope, in 2019 no less, is unfortunate.
