@Adamental2 Travel and meet Americans all the time we socialize, discuss family, travel, sports etc never discuss politics - Politics should never define someone. Only place I see nastiness between the two groups is on Twitter - 🤔 wonder why that is? Bots stirring pots..
@stoolpresidente Same way I feel about team USA hockey - great players (except for Matty T just an all around douche) but man their “fans” are ridiculously rude and pompous.
@willjohnsonbf1 The Stanley Cup isn’t an international competition. Some people seem to think the players that play on an NHL team are actually from the city or Country they play in. That is not the case NHL teams have players from multiple countries while the majority are Canadians
@stoolpresidente Maybe sit this one out. Hockey clearly not your strong suit.
Also Sorry that Marner is lighting it up tonight for Vegas you must hate that 🇨🇦
@CodyTheSeabee Mostly correct, however the Stanley Cup is not an international competition. Many people don’t seem to realize that players that play on a team are not actually from that city and in many cases the country. NHL teams are comprised of players from multiple countries but mostly 🇨🇦
@barstoolsports Why do you care so much about Canadian hockey? Barstool has limited knowledge and little care for the sport. No objective opinions. Just a ridiculous sad obsession with hating on Canada every chance you get, clearly solely US cheerleaders with no real insight. Sad and bizarre
@PrimetimeSamWoo Relevance? If schools wanna throw donors money at a Canadian kid fine - take the money.
Not sure what the point is? They are still Canadian kids wherever they play.
@zachnhso If it’s Bédard you’re talking about., He’s the one who always says no thanks when invited.
Pretty sure it doesn’t bother him at all one way or another. He’s doing just fine making lots of money to play a game. Maybe he’ll start saying yes when it works for him.
@worldhockeyrpt Think more countries having success would be a good thing not a negative. Lots of Canadian coaches are now able to get jobs all over the world developing high calibre players - when the game grows, everyone wins.
