@Peonofthepen That's the point. No one said 'white lives matter' because they actually thought white lives were in danger. No one says 'men are men and women are women' because they think non-trans people are under threat. If you think Sunak's statement was not a dog whistle, we cannot agree.

@Peonofthepen Sunak saying "men are men and women are women" is a very clear statement that he does not support the concepts of gender identity, and will campaign on that. This is actively harmful to Trans Rights, which are already under fire in the UK, with little support being available.

Been checking out Bluesky on another account, and first impressions are really really good. Content controls are so might better - algo content is actually proper discovery, not being spoonfed what _they_ want you to look at. You can specify what _you_ want to discover.

NB... I was going to like, tag the devs or something, but when I tried to look up their twitter I uncovered what looks like the motherload of drama... so I ain't touching that with a ten foot pole. I played the game, that's all 😅

Sonic Omens... Good game. Unironically one of the best 3D sonic games I've played. Controls are tight and make sense, levels have great set pieces that use the controls well. Graphics and animation is a solid 9/10.

But but like, overall I had a lot of fun. The 4hr stream flew by. The sound track was massive, the game was high energy, the characterisation was on point. There are nods to the sonic lore without it being obnoxious and wink-at-the-camera. Worth a play if you like Sonic.
