A year after he was on the Hawkeye football roster, Cole Marsh is starting for the @KCC_MBB basketball team.
He and the #1 Eagles take John Wood to the woodshed tonight at Johnson Hall.
JC: 6’10 sophomore forward Tyler Netolicky (Kirkwood CC) has received an offer from South Dakota.
The 6’10 standout is averaging a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 52.2% from the field in two games— one of the most consistent frontcourt producers in JUCO hoops.
What a great way to celebrate #CCMonth — welcoming the NJCAA DII Men’s Basketball National Champs from Kirkwood CC to my DC office! Big congrats on an incredible season — all that hard work paid off.
110% committed💜💛
Thank you to my coaches here at Kirkwood for the best two years of my life!! Also, thank you to the coaches at Minnesota State for giving me the opportunity to play on!!#JUCOPRODUCT#Maverick
Kirkwood's national champion men's basketball team included Traijan Sain (Cedar Rapids Washington), Colby Dophin (C.R. Kennedy), Tyler Netolicky (C.R. Xavier), Jack Wagemester (C.R. Prairie), Tate Petersen (Monticello) and Ben Bockman (Decorah). Not bad. Not bad at all ...
The @KirkwoodEagles are sending both their men's and women's teams into the NJCAA national quarterfinals.
The #1 Kirkwood women's team gets a stiff challenge in the second round, and the #3 men's team is playing at the national level for the first time since 2019.
