Greetings, this is Mizuki Yamaguchi. I am scheduled for a poster presentation at Perspectives on Non-Equilibrium Statistical Mechanics in Kyoto, and an oral presentation at #STATPHYS28 in Tokyo. I look forward to meeting you.
At #statphys28, we are going to showcase our recent works on the thermodynamics of chemical reaction networks and self-replication, cellular information processing, multicellular dynamics, and evolutionary dynamics. Happy to discuss with anyone interested in these topics.
#statphys28 Day2. We’ll have 2 plenary talks, DEI session, PhysRev luncheon (bento for first 100!), poster & parallel sessions.
From today we open as many classrooms as possible from morning (nearly all rooms used for parallel sessions). Hope this helps having better lunch time!
Great attendance and lovely venue for #StatPhys28 at the University of Tokyo. We just kick-started what will surely be a superb week discussing topics in Stat. Phys., including networks - we have 3 keynote talks on networks, including mine.
In 1975, the Japanese physicist Yoshiki Kuramoto introduced a mathematical model that describes how synchronization occurs in collective systems. The Kuramoto model has proved useful for modeling synchronization in networks from brains to power grids. https://t.co/SM4cUWupJf
