To urgently confront the homelessness crisis, we need all different types of housing. This is how we'll bring more homeless Angelenos indoors from encampments and confront this crisis head on.
Thank you @CAgovernor for locking arms with Los Angeles.
You can not end encampments, as long as @LALOMOD is damaging and terminating employees lives. You need to take control of @LALOMOD and @HACLA, their HHR director is making people's lives miserable. Please make changes.
Angelenos should not be left to live and die on our streets. That’s why we launched Inside Safe – a new citywide, proactive housing-led strategy to bring people inside and to prevent encampments from returning.
📢Available positions available at Rose Hill Courts! Priority will be given to #Section3 residents.

Berendo Sage, a 41-unit HHH partially funded project, held a grand opening on Friday, March 10. It will provide permanent and supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness 🏠.
@HACLA you pretend to care about families, but your organization has been holding and stalling constructions for the past 20 years. The outpour of money and critics has made you build something. #ShameOnYou
HACLA is proud to share that in February, 550 Angeleno families now have a place to call home🏠. This is the highest number of families moved into housing, in a single month, in the history of the agency. HACLA is pacing to house more than 5,000 families by the end of the year🙌.
L.A. is starting 2023 with:
✔️a unified state of emergency on homelessness in place
✔️faster processes for building affordable & temporary housing
✔️ a plan to support Angelenos & bring people in tents indoors with Inside Safe
We're acting with the urgency this crisis deserves.
The homelessness crisis knows no jurisdictional boundaries.
That’s why our city is locking arms with all levels of government to respond to this emergency with the resources and urgency it requires.

In 2020, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy tried to slow down the mail service and interfere with voting by mail in the middle of a pandemic. In 2022, we're in the same position we were in then. It's time for the USPS Board of Governors to take action and fire him.
