#Shoreline and #Seattle residents who travel should consider a home #VPN server. Read about "Why You May Want A Home VPN Server" https://t.co/1eh6y7mGwa
#Seattle#internet users are you still putting your smart speakers like Alexa and IoT (Internet of Things) on the same LAN without isolation? https://t.co/SbNcUYm7FA
@elcomelonch @CenturyLinkSEA @CenturyLinkHelp@Xfinity We encountered a similar problem with @centurylinksea -- but with static IP#s. Ask them to check if the line is a) provisioned and b) if the correct VLAN, if applicable, is correct.
@rburns2112@CenturyLinkHelp When @lumentechco@centurylinkhelp shut down Prism TV said we had to ship equip back. They sent label and we returned 1 week after end of service. 5 weeks later we get empty boxes to return equip. Completely disorganized.
@Sulimo_@CenturyLinkHelp The @centurylinkhelp system is broke. Jeff Storey should provide competent support. 40 phone calls, 30 hrs, 2 tech visits, and 1 final 3-hour call to implement static IPs. Incorrect programming in @Lumentechco backend! No response from 2-page letter to Storey says it all.

@AmeliaEHelm @nickrosencrans@CenturyLinkHelp@lumentechco Fiber is worth the customer service hassle. Recently forced CenturyLink to honor its signup price for static IP block. We found help through form at https://t.co/RGuLBWGB4X
@nickrosencrans@CenturyLinkHelp @AmeliaEHelm Unfortunately not much @lumentechco can or will do on copper. vDSL or bonded DSL about the only way to increase speed on copper. If you can get fiber, it is great. Customer service still sucks, though. Blessed in Seattle with fiber to the home with static IP numbers.
@jboyens @CenturyLinkSEA @jboyens we recently helped a residential @centurylinkhelp customer implement static IPs. 40 phone calls, 30 hours. 2 tech visits. All for naught. CL had wrong VLAN programmed on the back end. Call business support and insist to talk with Dawn in the Boise support group.
