@DustyRaging I was in North Carolina in an area T-Mobile had no native and us cellular was so congested it couldn’t load a webpage. The sites were microwave and apparently were fed from 100 meg backhaul. The network needs serious work to be at a level capable of dealing with more users.

@TechwithObed @TMobile Yes in my area some sites can’t load a webpage and some have sub 1 meg uploads and 80 plus precent packet loss. The network is INSANELY oversold near me. The other day I got 700 att vz and 100 meg tmo all next to same site.

@Terrell352 Yep tmo can be weird. Theirs a site I’ve posted that has shelter installed March 2023 then according to people I know it was canceled and in 2024 put small cell in parking lot. Now in May 2026 they installed cabinets zero clue when antennas or going live. Their weird.

@GainzPro Yep T-Mobile speeds have been plummeting near me. And Verizon has started to correct areas with 2.5 mile macro spacing with no small cells. I haven’t had as many Verizon issues.

@GainzPro Yep near me Verizon is quite empty on most sites but the issue is they have terrible macro density compared to tmo.

@Terrell352 @ATT Just fcc complaint it. If it takes me more than 30 minutes to do something basic I file the complaint and I’ll have someone who speaks English call me and fix it.

@dan45643 @holman1124 In Texas that isn’t the case between Houston and Austin T-Mobile has coverage and Verizon doesn’t. T-Mobile pretty much matches or passes ATt now. Plus multiple new tmo sites not on or filed for. They may win a lot of rural areas out right in TX. VZ fakes propagation also

Mutiple new T-Mobile sites in the Houston market are getting “aluminum wire” signs. I assume the vandalism and theft here has been really high for them.

@GainzPro They have been they’ve touched some 3 times. Installed 2020 mmw only then 2022 lte added then 2025/26 n77 added. So inefficient vs just adding macros.

Weird and now a pointless small cell. This is the only macro in the area T-Mobile isn’t on.

T-Mobile installed this shelter in 2023 it’s 2025 and still nothing. I’m curious to what type of delay causes that. Lease signed and ground gear installed and 2 years nothing. They also had crown install a small cell in the parking lot replacing the sprint mobilite one. Weird.

@GainzPro Verizon has mmw everywhere here so they should be fine however they don’t have many macros here which is my gripe with them. My Vz line guy shutdown this week so I need to get a new one. The macro density is terrible but mmw everywhere. Tmo also has TONS of small cells.

T-Mobile memorial city mall area the antennas are next to me and it’s struggling they also have over 10 small cells. The only solution is mmw at this point the sheer usage to be causing this is crazy. The mall also has das system with n41.
