Today we launch our website https://t.co/MghOAJAWaE - a tool to help our communtities across the UK boost voter turnout.
Ours is a simple, unique idea: we don't want you to sign up to a mailing list or get your details. The materials are free, open-source and for everybody /1
If everyone who sees this put an *hour* of their time aside today to help someone else to vote it would change this election. Employers, family, friends, colleagues - we all have a role to play. Try it.
See below and https://t.co/D9JQXQOBIm for practical ideas

Get on the phone, knock on doors, offer to be a companion. Its easy and it WILL make a difference.

@NetworkVote Offer babysitting/caring support - voting doesn’t take long. If you can spare an hour to look after someone’s children or relatives, you might make it possible for someone to go out to vote.
@NetworkVote Offer lifts or set up a carpool - in a winter election it can be cold and wet, which may put many off going out. If you have a car and time, why not offer lifts (this happened in 2017, many organised via Twitter!) or set up a carpool in advance?
@NetworkVote Their first tip - ask your neighbours if they need support to be able to go and vote - someone to go with them to the polling station, watch or walk the dog, or
simply to confirm where the local polling station is.
@NetworkVote Share information in your group chat, local Facebook page, neighbours' WhatsApp group - many neighbourhoods have group chats and forums.
Why not share information about polling day - when it is and where you can cast your vote locally?
@NetworkVote Offer to act as companion - for a range of reasons, people may wish to have someone come with them to the polling station - for example, if the weather is particularly unpleasant, the route unsafe or if special assistance is needed to vote.
