I've just got down to Parliament to present my petition in Parliament tonight for a Windfall Tax on the banks at this week's Budget.
Let's tax them and bail out ordinary people for once!
There's still time to sign the petition at the link below!

I have raised the imprisonment of Dr Mazen Al Rantisi in Parliament and on every platform I could and so I am
pleased he has been released but his physical condition evidences his mistreatment at the hands of the IDF. We now need to secure the release of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya who has been imprisoned also by the Israelis and whose life is under threat. https://t.co/Asm4KmSemV
Serbia won. Now the long treatment begins

We’re writing to you from Belgrade the morning after. Not many of us slept, & judging by the streets, neither did the rest of the city

Burnham has laid out a bold vision for Britain. Now, we must turn his vision into action.
Socialists are already organising across our movement. But we need you.
It’s time for a socialist Labour Party ready to deliver change.

The British people are sick of the neo-liberal orthodoxy — of outsourcing and privatisation, the corporate capture of our public sector, and the unimaginative, short-termist politics of ‘No’.
The cutting-edge agenda outlined here offers a clear pathway to national revival.
We must reject the idea that the right's rise across the globe is inevitable. In Brazil, millions just voted Bolsonaro's heir out, and in Serbia, a student-led movement has ended an authoritarian leader's 12-year reign.
Amid growing hate and corruption, people are fighting for hope and democracy, and they are winning.
Excellent piece from Andrea Egan setting out the direction in which I believe the majority of Labour supporters want us to go. @AndreaEganGS https://t.co/tAFhdWtUfk
A historic victory, thanks to the strength and action of movements across Brazil.
Bolsonaro's defeat is a win for democracy, for human rights and for global justice ✊🏽🌎
I’ve just come off a Unison picket line for striking Camden traffic wardens. They were privatised by Camden Council years ago. I was on their picket lines in 2012. They work 42.5 hours a week on low pay. They are striking for an extra £2 an hour and to have their leave entitlement the same as the council workers, which means an extra 7 days. The company is NSL, whose top manager is on £619,000 - £330 an hour. Some wonderful supporter brought a solidarity chocolate cake to the picket line. The traffic warden service should be brought back in house. Solidarity. @unisontheunion
Industrial food systems consume at least 15% of global fossil fuels.
Yet instead of moving away from oil and gas, the UK government continues to subsidise polluting industries.
This must end. Take action with @waronwant: https://t.co/CVQGYZ7oJW
Does Labour care more about point-scoring than community cohesion?
Its current offensive against the Greens suggests just that.

Congratulations to Lula on his extraordinary re-election victory in the Brazilian presidential election.
Democracy has prevailed today. This a victory for workers and the power of the people.

American far-right influencer Valentina Gomez, who tried to come to the UK to speak for Tommy Robinson, has gone to Serbia to try to shore up Vučić, speaking in front of a Ratko Mladic banner and ending "Kosovo is Serbia"
Part of a plague of US rightwingers who have gone there
