In the book Roots, Kizzy Kinte was about 16 years old when she was raped by the white man that purchased, enslaved, and tortured her.

Said differently, Kunta and Kizzy were the exact same age as some of the very students banned from reading this book when they were purchased, enslaved, and tortured.

@weiyingsmanager @thintechgodhead I read about another woman who had severe chemical sensitivities and needed housing accommodation and instead of giving her that, they offered her death. I want the choice but it has to be a CHOICE. People should have the same right to choose to LIVE with full accommodation.

@GeeSmith32 One of my best friends does ghost tours here and her company is one of the only Black-owned ones. She says she gets appreciation for that but also complaints from white tourists who wish the tours wouldn't focus so much on Black history. Like where do you think you are???

Forty Down syndrome organizations have already sent a letter opposing it. The National Association of Evangelicals — not a liberal group — has come out against it. When you've lost the evangelicals on a disability cut, you've lost the room.
The man writing this rule had to Google what the Social Security Commissioner does when Trump offered him the job. A Republican congressman called his testimony "embarrassing for my side." Now he's deciding whether Shy'tyra keeps her check.
The rule is in OMB review. A public comment window is coming. That's how it was stopped last time.
