1\ Preprint from the IronTract Challenge!💉🧠 A 2-year effort in the tractography community to find optimal data analysis strategies for HCP-style, multi-shell dMRI & beyond: https://t.co/IbXtT9qH75
Major undertaking by @chiaramff@Haber_Lab@QMENTA_Inc & all-⭐️ challenge teams:
For our most recent publication, we looked at the relationship between lesion-activation distance to language centers in the brain – using fMRI – and verbal measures in brain tumor patients. Find it here: https://t.co/r1OyNc7yxI

#Congratulations Dr. Prabhakaran and Dr. @DavidBluemke for individually receiving The Academy’s 2020 Distinguished Investigator Award. 🏆
It’s wonderful to see our faculty being recognized for their impressive and eminent contributions to the field of medical imaging. 🔬
Why Wisconsin Neuroradiology for Fellowship?
Great people of course! Amazing faculty, great clinical colleagues & fantastic residents.
ERAS opens for programs 12/1. #RadRes 1 more week to get your applications in. We can't wait to meet you.

Our PI, @vivekp73, received a 2020 ICTR Pilot Award in collaboration with Dr. Raheel Ahmed to study neural network dysfunction underlying refractory epilepsy in children. Congrats, Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Prabhakaran!
Cole Cook led our lab meeting today presenting his research on the effects of neuroimaging preprocessing steps on Spectral Dynamic Causal Modeling (spDCM). spDCM is a measure of effective connectivity, which he applies to study brain connectivity in the presence of a tumor. (1/3)
Cole's research aims to understand the influence of neuroimaging preprocessing steps such as slice timing and temporal filtering on the accuracy of effective connectivity measures. (2/3)
Diffusion data from the Alzheimer's Disease Connectome Project (ADCP) shows longer path length between all major lobes of the brain, suggesting reduced network efficiency in AD vs cognitively unimpaired or MCI. @NAdluru@VeenaANair1@WisconsinADRC
We are so excited to join #ScienceTwitter! Our lab at @UWMadison develops #neuroimaging methods and tools to study the characterization and treatment of brain lesions such as stroke, tumors, seizure pathology, among others.
