New preprint out! Using dMRI, tracer, & PS-OCT, we show the SLF-I isn’t a uniform tract, but a modular system of multiple fiber pathways, conserved across species👉 https://t.co/TPIOX4AxP8
🙏 to @AnastasiaYendiki @Haber_Lab for making this multimodal, multiyear project possible.
🚨 Reminder! Next TractAnat Club this Friday, June 20 at 9:00 AM (Montréal, EDT).

1/2🌍 Exciting news for our global community of scientists! The Tract-Anat-Club is relaunching on Thursday, September 19th! 🧠Join us for a talk by Dr. Chuyang Ye, Associate Professor at Beijing Institute of Technology, on machine learning in Diffusion MRI & #Tractography
We combined in vivo and ex vivo dMRI with optical imaging in humans and tracer in macaques to investigate the mesoscopic connectivity of the Superior Longitudinal Fasciculus I @nastasiayendiki@Haber_Lab
It was great to have the chance to present our multi-modal multi-scale work at #ohbm2024. Come by poster #2200 today or tomorrow to chat more! 🐒🧠🔬🧲. Photo credit @Alex_Leemans
Happening tomorrow June 20th 9:00 am EDT! @SSarubbo giving the second talk of the TractAnatClub series on tractography in the neurosurgical setting 🧠🥼. Message for zoom link. @FrancoisRheault@tractography

Very excited to kick-off our lab retreat with these fabulous speakers on a session about tools for automated tractography! We thought this could be interesting to others so will do hybrid and have booked a larger room. Anybody in Boston welcome to RSVP in person, if not via zoom.
Martinos! As a small taste of our tomorrow's very first talent-show, Inside-Out has interviewed one of our brave performers. A math enthusiast, a piano player and a composer... Find out who we are talking about at https://t.co/pfpFsKNfRg. @cmaffei@nm_gilmore@MGHMartinos
8/8 To conclude, we provide proof-of-principle evidence that an automated tractography pipeline has translational potential to detect and quantify TAI in patients with acute severe TBI. Its potential prognostic utility will need to be evaluated in future studies.
7/8 For each patient we extracted the total number of abnormal tracts. Results show at least one abnormal tract in all patients. The number and type of abnormal tracts varied across patients and LOC. The pipeline accurately discriminated between patients and controls (AUC: 0.91).
