Q: You mentioned before that you are worried about "not having work" and "not being offered roles." Does this anxiety still exist? How do you cope with the uncertainties of an actor's career?

#BaiJingting: The large number of scripts I'm receiving now is likely due to the success of my previous works, but I can't guarantee that all my projects will be exceptionally successful. Film and television production is a collaborative project, involving many departments and stages. Whether the final result resonates with audiences is ultimately beyond my control.

All I can do is give my best during filming—to fully understand the character and bring that performance to life as truthfully and convincingly as I can. If I want to keep earning new opportunities, I have to continue delivering strong work while constantly searching for new perspectives and ways to grow. The day I can no longer discover something fresh within myself may become my greatest challenge.

He has never signed with any major agency so established his own team where he can make his own decisions—his current studio, Bai Jingting Studio, employed Su Weiming as his manager, they've been working together since Back in Time (his debut drama) with his college friend Li Yixuan who's handling business matters.

But his manager told 人物 that several major agencies approached Bai Jingting on 2017 wanting to sign him and he didn't mind him joining large companies that can offer him more and better opportunities; he was also concerned that maintaining the status quo might make the team too insular, preventing breakthroughs or changes However, Bai Jingting felt that only this system gave him a sense of security.

In the studio named after himself, Bai Jingting exercises near-total control over everything concerning himself; he manages his own career and public image much as one would manage another person—overseeing everything from major decisions like whether to accept a specific role down to almost every photo and every piece of material, the final step before release must be approved by him.
