DO AN IDENTITY-THEFT AUDIT ON YOURSELF!!!
I got this information from someone a home affairs official!
Please go through your records and check what is actually registered against your ID number. Identity theft in South Africa is very common, most citizens are victims and they’re not even aware, it goes far beyond someone taking out a loan in your name.
1. SARS / eFiling
Log into your SARS eFiling profile and check:
Employers registered against your tax profile, Income or IRP5s you don’t recognise, Tax returns and assessments
Banking details, Cellphone number and email address, Any changes or submissions you did not make
If there is an employer or income on your SARS profile that you don’t recognise, report it immediately.
2. Department of Employment and Labour / UIF
Check whether your ID has been used in employment or UIF records.
You want to know whether someone has:
Registered you as an employee
Reported employment under your ID
Used your details for UIF-related purposes
Linked you to an employer you have never worked for
3. Get your CREDIT REPORT
This is extremely important.
Check for:
Loans you never applied for
Credit cards/accounts you never opened
Unknown credit applications
Unknown credit enquiries
Defaults or accounts you don’t recognise
Any suspicious changes to your credit profile
If something doesn’t belong to you, dispute it with the relevant credit provider/bureau and report the fraud.
4. Check your BANKING PROFILE
Contact your bank and make sure there aren’t accounts, loans or other financial products registered under your ID that you don’t recognise.
Also contact other banks to check if your ID number is not linked to any account.

Hi guys, my older brother has launched a platform that connects customers planning any sort of traditional ceremony to vetted vendors. The platform is called UMCIMBI and officially launched today.

18 years ago before I was label manager at Soul Candi Records, I was managing the sales team for the business. It was an amazing time for music, we were selling loads of CD’s and Vinyl from our offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
Mr Cee from Blackwhole had a distro deal for an album called ‘Another Level’ with a big tune ‘1000 Seconds’ which was a such a big moment for South African House Music.
This album came and went, never to be released digitally… until today 🙏🏻
I am super proud to be able to release this landmark moment on my label Stay True Sounds, conserving South African dance culture.
You can stream ‘Another Level’ anywhere now.
Imagine at the AWS summit they say build and deploy an app right now.. you say I can show you my repo they say No, Now, Live, No copilot.. later you drop a link to your app, then they say no you fake dev.. other people coded "hello world" on the spot, wena nex sies you disgrace😂

The past 6 months have to be the hardest I've worked. We built a cashless system to tip car guards. One app for drivers(CarPark Payments)and another for car guards(CarPark Wallet).
Onboarded car guards at Chris Hani Crossing last week, and in a matter of days we are onto another
i talk about the quality of senior devs alot, but the quality of senior recourses in all of tech, across all the streams is dire.
BAs, PMs, Product Owners, QA, The Business owners, infrastructure guys, dev ops, tech support - everyone involved is just…
