Here is some of the new information we are reporting about the murder of 2 children in Wellesley.
Their mother, 49 year old Janette MacAusland, is charged with killing them

According to sources:
-Children were last seen Wednesday. Bodies discovered Friday night
-Evidence suggest they were strangled
-Blood found in house believed to be from mother
-Evidence suggests mother may have tried to kill herself through multiple methods including electrocution with a hair dryer
-Mother had been previously "sectioned"

The state senate has passed a statewide ban on student cell phone use in the public schools. More on @7News at 5-6. It passed 38-2. If the gov signs the legislation as expected the ban would go into effect in a year, 2026-27 school year.
