@jzellis Frustrating that people can't / won't join the dots on these weather events. France just had its 4th once-in-100yrs flood in less than 10 months. Those 'unprecedented' Cat-5-in-a-matter-of-hours cyclones have been happening regularly since Katrina, 20yrs ago. We've been warned.

I posted earlier that the more ridiculous we are made to look and feel, the sooner it will change. This, sadly, is an inevitable part of the process.
We must be humiliated out of our Brexit daze.

We're still going to travel to the mainland if we have to sit there for days. Children will be taken out of school, and fines paid, to avoid the worst of it, but we'll all still go.
Sad truth: the more ridiculous we feel, the sooner it will change.
