who we are in Christ allows us to see failure without letting it define us.
because of knowing how God loves us, the confidence Grace gives us allows no room for condemnation when we fail.
The words in scriptures must be read through the lens of Christ & His finished work.
"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye' ... But I tell you, do not resist an evil person..." (Matthew 5:38-39)
THE BODY OF CHRIST WORKS TOGETHER ๐ฒโ๏ธ
Every ingredient matters.
By itself, it may not seem completeโฆ but together it creates something powerful.
Thatโs exactly how the Body of Christ is supposed to work.
Different gifts. Different personalities. Different callings. One purpose.
God never designed us to compete against one anotherโHe designed us to come together
in love, unity, and grace to reflect Jesus to the world.
When the Body works together the right way, lives are changed.
๐ญ What gift has God placed inside of you?

1 Cor 6:20 says โyou were bought with a price,โ it doesnโt frame God as bargaining with the devil. Scripture consistently shows that everything already belongs to Him. So the โpriceโ is about our value being revealed in Christ at the highest possible cost.
Yes. Jesus has a Father but He is also God. Fully human and God. When Jesus says โmy Fatherโ or โmy God,โ Heโs not denying His divinity. Heโs revealing relationship. That relationship didn't start on earth. It's eternal. He was Son before creation began.
The NT clearly establishes that Jesus had a God, he worshipped his God, and his God was the God of Israel, the God of the Scriptures, whom he called โmy/the Father.โ
Christ is risen. We are risen. The cosmos has been made anew.
โResurrection means that the worst thing is never the last thing.โ
- Frederick Buechner
โThe resurrection is not an event within history; it is the event which gives history its meaning.โ
- Karl Barth
โIn the resurrection, Jesus does not simply come back to life; He breaks the power of death itself.โ
- T.F. Torrance
โThe resurrection is not the resuscitation of a corpse; it is the explosion of a new creation.โ
- Robert Capon
โEaster reveals not only Christโs glory, but the destiny of all creation.โ
- Sergei Bulgakov
โIf Jesus is risen, then the future of all humanity is already determined.โ
- Wolfhart Pannenberg
โEaster is the beginning of the transfiguration of all creation.โ
- Vladimir Lossky
โI was always riled up by the theory of Descartes that an animal is a soulless mechanism; it seemed a downright stupid thing to say. I never liked Descartes because of that theory. But I am likewise offended at the denial of any possibility of immortality for animals. I will go further. Even the death of a tree which I loved and which I beheld could be tragic for me, and any spiritual potential that I have will be directed towards even that tree's resurrection."
- Nikolai Berdyaev
Godโs โrestโ isnโt Him stepping away .Itโs Him being fully satisfied with us. Itโs the rest of completion, not exhaustion. Just like after creation, when God saw everything was โvery goodโ (Genesis 1:31), His rest means nothing is lacking from His perspective.
The early church were using old Jewish way counting, not modern precision timing. In Jewish culture, any part of a day counts as a whole day.
Friday, Jesus died(day1). Saturday He remains in the tomb(day2). Sunday, morning, He is risen(day3).
Iโm sorry, genuinely asking but i thought Jesus died on a Friday afternoon. Going by that and the fact that he resurrected 3 days after, arenโt we meant to be celebrating Easter on Monday and not Sunday?
โTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.โ โ Proverbs 3:5
Notice it doesnโt say understanding is a bad thing. It says donโt lean on it as your foundation.
Suffering can touch your body, your circumstances, even your emotions but it cannot touch who you are in Christ.
Your identity is anchored in a resurrected Christ. Suffering does not define you but resurrection defines you.
The resurrection of Christ declares that suffering and death are not the end of the story. God entered human suffering, defeated it through the cross, and began a new creation with the resurrection.
Translated into the gospel language:
The pursuit of happiness outside of Christ produces misery. True joy is not something to obtain; it is the life of Christ already given within you. Happiness awakens when you realize you are already held in Him.
โALL SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS IS MISERY."
"Nothing can make you happier than you are. All search for happiness is misery and leads to more misery. The only happiness worth the name is the natural happiness of conscious being."
~Nisargatta Maharaj
Apostle Paul insists on: grace is not symmetrical with sin. It is asymmetrical. He literally says, โwhere sin increased, grace abounded all the more.โ Grace did more than just cancel out the power of sin. It overwhelmed it.
Repentance (metanoia) literally means a change of mind & it's not about earning sonship or manufacturing reconciliation. In fact the father ran towards him before the speech was finished. The father was always looking and waiting for his son to come back. YOU BELONG
The prodigal sonโs departure was geographical and relational in experience. It was not ontological. He did not become a non-son. He was a son by birth, and lived as if he was not one.
The text says, โhe came to himself.โ It suggests awakening.
