بیشترین نشریات تلویزیون بریا دینی و اسلامی بود، اما طالب دنبال قرائت و تفسیر دینی خاص خود است. اگر در بین طالبان کسی شرک کند و خرافات را گسترش دهد ‌وبه آن رنگ دینی دهد عیبی نیست. ولی ترس دارند از اینکه دیگران تفسیر حقیقی دین را پیش کنند . دین از شورا حرف می زند،از حقوق حرف میزند، دین می‌گوید در مقابل بی عدالتی و ‌استبداد سکوت نکنید، دین از تعلیم و دانش حرف میزند. دین با جهل مبارزه میکند، دین حاکم را خادم میداند و پاسخگو به ملت، دین می‌گوید امیر باید آشکارا در بین مردم باشد، دین حاکم را جوابده به مردم میداند، دین از بیت المال حرف میزند که باید حسابش به ملت داده شود و‌هزاران مورد دیگر که طالب انرا مراعات نمیکند.
بریا ارزشهای دینی ‌و ملی را در نظر داشت نه ارزشهای طالبی.
