The man resists and in the struggle the gun falls down out of the man's pant leg. Officer thought he still had the gun.

@gianni_chiodi @PoliceThePolic1 The video skips forward and after the shoting the officer goes back to where he was searching the man and looks at what appears to be a gun on the ground. I am assuming the man had a handgun concealed in his pants the officer was trying to remove when this happened.
