June 6, 1944. Today, we mark the anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. 14,000 Canadians stormed Juno Beach, showing unparalleled bravery in the face of fierce resistance. 359 Canadians made the ultimate sacrifice that day.
We stand in silent gratitude for the heroes who broke through the Atlantic Wall and paved the path to liberation.

My warmest congratulations to all the journalists honored by President @ZelenskyyUA.
They deserve it, and I commend them for their outstanding work.
Special thoughts to my friend, the French journalist @stefsiohan.
Bravo, cher Stéphane, pour ceci et tout ce que tu fais.
This is our Churchill vs. Chamberlain moment. Stand with good or stand with evil.
Ukraine is a democracy invaded by a dictator who wants to erase its independence, culture and people.
Ronald Reagan would stand with Ukraine and vote yes tonight. He would choose Churchill.
Ukrainian forces not only blockading Russia's military and logistics from Crimea and the southern corridor, but now beginning to do the same in Donetsk, preventing supplies entering from the east.
This is brilliant.
Today is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day – the Allied landings in Normandy, which significantly hastened the countdown to the Nazis' collapse in World War II. It is one of the most important moments of unity among the defenders of life in human history, and it was less than a year until the peoples’ aspiration for freedom and the hope of peace prevailed in May 1945. It happened then. We are working to make it happen again today.
And although yesterday in Petersburg another cynical order to continue killing was issued for the army trying to destroy our freedom, history has seen this before. The Nazis also had their own hopes after D-Day. But freedom still wins. And even in the darkest circumstances, people find ways to come together to protect life.
I thank all those who are now helping to protect the values that prevailed in World War II. I thank everyone who is defending life. Glory to Ukraine!
@markroseman Island Health topping per capita list is unexpected, but given IH's being 5% higher than province for difficulty in access to family doctor in Chief MO, Dr. Gustafson 2025 report. https://t.co/V8icSsJDwz
It is time to end this war. But Russia’s ruler wants to keep fighting. That is why Ukrainian sanctions against this aggression are working. Last night, our drones covered a distance of about 1,000 kilometers to the St. Petersburg region – to the enemy navy’s arsenals and a base in Kronstadt. Our long-range sanctions also reached about 500 kilometers into the Krasnodar region – and hit an oil depot. These are important results of the joint efforts by warriors from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. Russia must end its war and stop its attacks on life. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response. I thank our warriors for their precision.

Irish politicians are avoiding questions about Aughinish. Patrick O’Donovan refuses to answer my calls. The refinery is in his constituency
He says the Russian owned plant is not connected to Russia’s war machine, without showing evidence. They want this to blow over. It won’t
Completely blown away by this.
Today I was recognised by President Zelenskyy with the Order of Merit. A profound honour.
Right now powerful people want the truth about Ukraine buried. It’s a privilege to be able to tell it. ❤️🇺🇦🔥
It's confirmed: Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz and Kier Starmer will meet Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday to discuss military support for Ukraine, economic pressure on Russia and ways to revitalise the peace process.
The meeting will be in London.
Inside Moscow's elite Bauman University, a secret department trains the GRU's next-gen hackers, saboteurs, and spies. Leaked documents now expose how its graduates feed the units behind Russia's cyberattacks, election interference, and NATO sabotage. https://t.co/5TTRIaWZj7
@atrupar These are the current US tariffs on Canada- in addition to a 10% global tariff on any goods not CUSMA registered. Also, I don’t think anyone in Canada has threatened repeatedly to take over Wisconsin (although it is a pretty state).
This vote was about standing up for freedom and a victim of an invading thug. I know how Ronald Reagan would have voted. He told Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall. If alive today, he’d demand that Putin “get the hell out of Ukraine.”

So no, Congressman, no amount of words will save you from the disgrace of providing cover for Trump's policy of siding with the Russian dictator in the genocidal war against heroic Ukraine. We are watching; we see you clearly and we will not forget.
This is Veronika Chuian. She was 28.
Russia killed her in missile strike on Kyiv as she ran with her children to a shelter.
Her 2-year-old is badly injured. Her mother lost a leg. Her 4-year-old is now with relatives.
Behind every Russian strike is family in Ukraine like this.
Putin hasn’t changed his war objectives at all. He is not interested in ending his barbaric invasion.
And yet some naive people in the West continue to blame Zelenskyy for not negotiating.
