@annbauerwriter Calling it “racist and xenophobic” to acknowledge a problem within a specific community is exactly why nothing gets fixed. You can address lawlessness, failed leadership AND cultural issues at the same time. Pretending it doesn’t exist because it’s uncomfortable helps no one.
@KellyMorrisonMN Law enforcement says this was targeted, and FOX 9 reports a link to Somali gang violence. Calling it “gun violence” avoids the harder conversation: the people committing these crimes and why gang violence keeps happening.
@keithellison How about holding the people committing violent crimes accountable? Guns don’t join gangs or pull their own triggers. Going after manufacturers and retailers while ignoring the criminals actually committing the violence isn’t “protecting our kids.” It’s avoiding the real problem.
@RepAngieCraig “Common sense” would be waiting for the facts before immediately using a targeted shooting to push your gun-control agenda. If this turns out to be gang-related violence, then address the gangs, repeat offenders and people actually committing these crimes.
@mnwild This is ridiculous. You waited until game time yesterday to say anything while fans were scrambling trying to figure how to watch. Now you want fans to fight Comcast for you? Maybe communicate with your own fans BEFORE puck drop instead of leaving us to figure it out .
@peggyflanagan Universal healthcare systems also have flaws and aren't the greatest. Our current system is flawed and isn't the greatest. Whats the alternative? Big pharma has too much leverage within the government.
@CD16ERA Come on Coney 😂 I respect you defending your guy. But this is Year 10, not Year 2. We shouldn’t get embarrassed at home like that. Every year it’s “let’s see how they respond,” and every year it feels like we’re just not good enough. At some point, that’s on PJ.
