Spectacular inversion on Grisedale Pike near #Keswick in the #Lakedistrict with #Skiddaw poking its head through the clouds in the distance. Worth the low visibility hike for such a splendid vista!
@robjimlewis@The_Visitor It's been like that for 50 years. It was put there for police vehicles to change carriageway. There are signs and bollards, it's hard to use accidentally though of course nothing to prevent its malicious use. Nonetheless it should change if it contributed to this dreadful event.
"Wastewater" and "Scarfell" Is this just poor proofreading at @gazettenewsdesk or some kind of editorial opinion on the condition of the #lakedistrict ?
@ChrisRandWrites You should see the campaign material for David Morris, the Conservative MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale. Peppered with errors throughout, it's a hilarious read!
@PGtips Some feedback for you. I re-tried tou new bags along with several other brands (some of which were awful!). I ended up choosing Tetley. The flavour is more like the PG pyramid bag taste and the cup staining has gone. I hope the feedback is of use. Jonathan
@PGtips Are pyramid bags gone? I always buy PG Tips but the new flat bags have a poor flavour and stain the cup. I'm very brand loyal and dislike experimenting but I'm going to have to check other tea brands now.
@alexbloor@what3words OS Locate app is free and gives you your current OS grid reference, altitude and what direction you're facing. Telling the MRT the map (SD), the 3-digit Easting and 3-digit Northing is all they need to know to pinpoint you.
@TheLakesTony @Cumbriapolice Why are we demonising the very people we want to attract rather than providing adequate facilities? National Trust car parks are brilliant and carefully designed to blend in. We just need more of them.
