I am looking for perspectives from members of SLT in schools who have had experience of suspension and exclusion, and from those who have not.
If you would like to participate in this research, you can contact me at [email protected] for more information.
This is a call for senior leaders in primary schools (Heads, Deputy/Assistant Heads, SENCOs).
I am recruiting for a research project on supporting pupils at risk of permanent exclusion.
@TeachMrN@Headteacherchat We use Safe Guard which is fine but used CPOMS in a previous school which I think is more user friendly and easier to navigate. Both serve the purpose though and are great for keeping a chronology of safeguarding, behavior, communication, etc. Wouldn't go back to paper!
@MrsCoyle_HT Well done on day 1!
You are not alone with the imposter syndrome and I'm sure you're being hard on yourself with the assembly.
It definitely gets better, worse and then better again. Hold on tight; it's a thrilling and unpredictable adventure. The best job in the world though ๐
@PrimaryHead2020 My son is a primary school teacher and loves it. He went in to it knowing the challenges but feeling it was what he was meant to do. I'm ridiculously proud of him.
Watching the names of the 2,977 victims of 9/11 being read out and remembered and listening to the brave, emotional tributes from their relatives is absolutely heartbreaking ๐
Day 1 of being a Headteacher (!) and INSET done. Feeling humbled at how welcoming, supportive and enthusiastic my new team have been ๐
I hope all of my fellow 'school' friends have also had a successful first day of term.
