A3: I think that we need to model what is appropriate behaviour in a learning community that we moderate. Students often create their own communities for classes, especially in high school so they can interact more "freely" without the watchful eye of an adult #EDU5188chat

A4: The first thing that comes to mind for me is equity...do all students have the access required to benefit as intended. It is also important to consider the age of the students and thus choose a platform that is appropriate (and respects age restrictions) for them #EDU5188chat

That is the only way we can truly be learning. We too often only follow those who will validate our own thinking....dangerous!

I also feel that online learning communities help me stay current. I can stay up to date with new strategies, new tech, etc. I resolved my Grid view problem for Google Meet today through my learning communities. #EDU5188chat
