Another terrible day for Canada and Confederation today after both the federal and provincial NDP came out against an essential pipeline that would end the U.S. monopoly on Canadian oil.
The proposed pipeline – which would stretch from Alberta to B.C.’s coast - would create thousands of jobs, inject billions into our economy and, most importantly, diversify our export markets so we aren’t wholly dependent on the United States.
As it stands now, our oil is sold at a steep discount to the U.S. (because we have no leverage) and our ability to seek out new customers is almost nonexistent.
Pipelines are the safest and most economical way to move resources. This should be a no-brainer. Instead, the NDP will oppose it to appease their radical, ideological base.
The Liberals must not bow to pressure from the NDP and get the pipeline built! 🇨🇦
@SteveSaretsky@JeffCBonnell Don’t have abundant hydro and wind from the North Sea like Norway to power ourselves. You can’t export waterfalls and wind. But we do have a ton of natural gas to export and optimize resource wealth in the present and get coal dependent nations greener.
@cryptorbion What’s the catalyst tho? Just because it’s “October” doesn’t quite compute. Global liquidity, the 10 year yield, the dxy, and VIX will be the signals

Nothing like a recession and a trade war to really “build back better” 🙃
Knowing Trudeau my honest opinion is that he's manufactured this "crisis" (or at very least allowed it to happen) intentionally to screw Canadians in exchange for more power. Please stop falling for his manipulations. Everything he does is an ego trip. At what point has he ever done what's best for the country?
Why do they need the ability to do this? Because it's their entire "business model:"
1. Borrow money through 0% convertible notes
2. Buy Bitcoin and drive price higher
3. Sell new shares at premium and buy more bitcoin
4. Repeat
Bears will say this is unsustainable.
