🚨 BRONKHORSTSPRUIT RESIDENTS WARNED NOT TO DRINK TAP WATER 🚨
The Department of Water and Sanitation has again urged residents of Bronkhorstspruit and surrounding areas not to use tap water, despite City of Tshwane assurances that water from the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant is now being chlorinated.
The warning follows a gastrointestinal illness outbreak that reportedly affected 408 people, most of them children under the age of four.
Residents were allegedly not informed that the water had not been chlorinated and was unsafe for human consumption, raising serious concerns about public health, water safety and communication with affected communities.
Authorities continue to face pressure to ensure access to safe drinking water.

🚨 EFF’S OMPHILE MAOTWE DEMANDS ACCOUNTABILITY OVER TSHWANE WATER CRISIS 🚨

🚨 South Africa will reintroduce temporary fuel levy cuts from November as the government seeks to ease pressure on motorists and struggling households.
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana announced the R10 billion relief measure during Wednesday’s Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement.
