@haveigotnews It’s a bit like the Nick Frost character from Sean of the Dead ending up in Simon Peggs shed. 🧟
I’m sure it’s already been said elsewhere…
"This is going to have to be resisted on the streets, through campaigns and through industrial action. We can’t do that alone. We need everyone with us."
@RMTunion's Mick Lynch on why we need to defend the right to strike.
RT if you're with him 👊

My role as an NHS "pen pusher" meant our psychiatrists didn't have to type & send multiple clinic letters or referrals a day, book appointments and deal with routine queries - freeing up their time to see more patients. Admin staff keep the NHS turning. This headline is gross.
Message to the @England football team at the #WorldCup for the game v Islamic Republic of Iran 🇮🇷 on Monday. We think it would be amazing if you did this. It would mean more than you could ever imagine.
The culture in the NHS must change.
We need to:
- role model setting boundaries
- teach doctors to say no
-encourage them to leave on time
-banish the guilt
Because a sustainable career in healthcare needs boundaries.

Telegraph reporting as fact that Kamikwazi and Tross are planning to cut the value of benefits to the poorest“to reassure the markets” they can fund the scrapping of the 45p tax rate … these people are disgusting
Tell the government it must NOT betray animals suffering for fur and foie gras! #DontBetrayAnimals - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/fYZaAKuNeJ via @UKChange
That was vile from @KwasiKwarteng who actually just said "for too long in this country we've indulged in a fight over redistribution"
Indulged?
Dealing with inequality is somehow over-generous? Does he think people choose to be poor & face disadvantage? Disgusting
#MiniBudget
A budget truly for the 1%. Abolishing the 45p rate of tax benefits the richest 1% in our society. Combined with lifting the cap on bankers’ bonuses and threatening to cut the benefits of the unemployed this forms the most socially divisive budget in a generation.
