I have made over $60k from prop firms and here is what I learnt, only people that want to make money will read it through.

Prop trading is an investment:

Prop trading isn’t something that you rush to get money from, and that is why I always advice that the moment you make money from trading prop firms, invest in your own self by funding a broker Acc and trading the Acc conservatively, focusing on the long term rather than the short term.

Trading less :

This is better than too many trades, I rather just pick one trade at a time, this helps you remain in control, and builds you to be able to trade real funds when the time comes, less is more.

Don’t have a target :

Many traders get to funded stage and the reason why they don’t withdraw is because they have a target, you can’t predict the trades that will go right or wrong, so having a target only puts pressure on you and sometimes when you are suppose to chill after making money you go back in and then lose the money you have made and in some cases lose the funded Acc in itself.

Have an accountability partner :

This helps you grow, and stick to your rules.
