Briefly mined Bitcoin in 2014 before leaving crypto until 2020 (Yep, that guy). Been a dev for 25 years and looking to start getting involved with the community
@HeroDividend It's basically a way to guilt myself into eating my vegetables.
I spent so much time and money on them, I better eat them and not let them go to waste!
@GAxclusive@RyanSAdams@TrustlessState@aevoxyz Yeah, the VCs get two potential paydays.
1) when the token is released
2) their actual stake in the company (which they "might" be able to sell later)
But the are almost getting a "free" stake/ownership/investment because of the tokens they get to sell at ridiculous valuations.
@RyanSAdams@TrustlessState@aevoxyz Oh, and most of those "second largest number of addresses" won't be able to claim, so who profits from that???? The VCs.
Look I like you guys. But it's a bad look to dance on everyone else's graves.
No one wants to hear about how much money you guys are making off this because you're accredited investors (because you hapan yo have one $1,000,000 in personal assets).
Everyone in the US just got mislead and screwed by a drop you were promoting.
Have some sympathy.
Don't get me wrong, airdrops are a crap-shoot, and no one should expect anything from any of these enterprises. It's a gift if you get it, but if you (the airdrop farmer) is expecting it, you're kidding youself.
But the block list given the TVL they promoted and allwed via VPNs was a bit shady.
@Uniswap Is it bad that I'm almost afraid to like this post in fear of being persecuted by the SEC and IRS?
How did we get here?
(And YES I pay ALL my taxes, and probably more than I should because I'm terrified of making a mistake and getting into trouble)
