Last week, I saw three young guys recording what looked like either a skit or a music video close to my house. I admired their boldness, but I couldn't help but start to ask myself certain questions.
Since 2020, the content creator/influencer industry in Nigeria has increasingly grown. Everywhere you turn, someone is creating content.
The problem is that because it is so decentralised and the barrier is low, it means building structure around it is tough. If proper care is not taken, many young people would spend three, five, seven years creating content and making a living on the go without lasting footing.
This includes structure like pensions, health insurance, savings, etc. They may wake up after working so hard for many years to realise that even though they had motion, they didn't have roots.
My advice to those who fall into this category: do not wait to "make it" before you start to think structure. You can register your brand as a business, and this could give you more leverage for negotiations). This is what will move what you do from a side gig to profession.

Dear officer @Brightgoldenboy
Good evening
Are your men supposed to take someone to station or extort a road user because the chassis number on https://t.co/GgGhU7R7LK is missing a number, when the number in the car and on physical paper is correct?
Please confirm.
It's disheartening to witness the commentator of the Nigeria-Rwanda game announce live betting odds.
If this trend continues, we risk a future where commentary is minimal and dictated by the highest bidding betting companies, undermining the integrity of our football experience.
@ToboreDavids@newwarri laudable, beyond postulations I trust that the rubber must need meet the tar if for nothing , for ourselves by ourselves. I commend your poise and courage.
