New Ways team in Barawe has carried out sanitation and hygiene awareness activities under the @CatholicRelief WASHFIRST Project. Through household visits, FGDs, and hygiene promotion sessions, they advanced community knowledge and practices for better sanitation and hygiene.
New Ways’s #JRP funded ECE program provides safe, child-friendly classrooms that protect vulnerable children from exploitation and abuse while fostering early learning, nutrition and a resilient foundation for the future. Thanks to our donors for making ECE possible for children.

Access to early childhood education is critical for building children's cognitive, social and emotional development. With the support of #JRP education project, New Ways supports teachers that design and deliver CEE knowledge in some of the most isolated classrooms in Somalia.
Many children in Somalia drop out of school when families lose their livelihood. Muscab was one of these kids in Galkacyo who dropped out of school because of displacements but thanks a local community group that raise awareness on education, Muscab returned to school in 2024.
At a time of expanding droughts, one need that stands out of the humanitarian equation is water. In a newly constructed water wells in Afgoi, Southwest State, 6 people can fill up 6 jerrycans at a time in a fast running water taps. Thanks to @shf_somalia for the generous support.

Last week, New Ways Organization conduced community-wide hygiene kits distribution campaign in Afgoi as part of @shf_somalia’s integrated WASH project. Distributions were made in Mareeray, Tawakal, Balgure, Wanjeelow and Bulo-elay villages in Afgoi district.
