Arrive
Trembling, the Sun sinks
in the wine-dark sea.
A cool trace of lavender lifts
the piney evening air.
Birds sing an ancient song,
a long-forgotten melody.
Open eyes to see,
open ears to hear,
open heart —
I’m here.

To Be or Not To Be
Yesterday a memory,
tomorrow a dream —
only this moment
is yours to Be.
Time and space —
a dreamed up story
to experience
fear’s contraction
and desire’s race.
Only this very moment
is eternal —
here.

Seks is makkelijker dan ooit, maar echte intimiteit vraagt wat schaars is: kwetsbaarheid. Apps maken van interacties een markt van swipen en beloning. Seks wordt zo soms een ruilmiddel voor status. Echtheid vraagt vertraging. Intimiteit koop je niet, je deelt het.♥️

Be Real
Indulge not in inner ‘n outer pride,
Let vanity not be your guide.
Keep yourself from folly’s game,
Enjoy ’n focus, be true to your aim.

“A crooked tree lives its own life, but a straight tree is turned into wood.”
- Chinese Proverb
The idea behind this proverb comes most clearly from the writings of Zhuangzi, one of the central thinkers of Daoism in the 4th century BCE.
In the Zhuangzi, a famous story tells of a large, twisted tree that carpenters ignore because its wood is unsuitable for construction. Precisely because it is considered “useless,” the tree is never cut down and survives to live out its natural life.
Zhuangzi uses the tree as a metaphor for human life. In Daoist thought, being “useful” by conventional standards can make a person vulnerable to exploitation, control, and exhaustion. Those who are unconventional, overlooked, or unwilling to fit society’s expectations may instead preserve their freedom and live on their own terms.

Hermes of the Winds
Amazing what a small poem can do,
Even give a brute like me a delicate view.
Winged shoes glide on the autumn breeze,
Red and gold leaves twirl from the trees.

Quiet Vow
Behind the bedroom window,
no moon tonight —
only street lamps carving sharp shadows.
I close the curtains,
slide into bed.
She sleeps beside me.
I watch her breathing,
brush her warm cheek.
Whatever comes,
I will protect her
if it needs to be.
